Amihan, easterlies to bring cloudy skies across PH
The Northeast Monsoon or Amihan will bring cloudy skies over Northern Luzon, while the easterlies will affect the rest of the country, state weather bureau PAGASA said Saturday.
Based on PAGASA's 4 p.m. weather forecast, Cagayan Valley and Apayao will have cloudy skies with light rains due to the Amihan.
Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains may prevail over the Ilocos Region, the rest of the Cordillera Administrative Region, and Aurora also because of the Northeast Monsoon.
In Metro Manila and the rest of the country, the easterlies and localized thunderstorms may bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.
PAGASA warned of possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.
Northern Luzon will have moderate to strong wind speed moving northeast, while coastal waters will be moderate to rough.
In the eastern sections of Central and Southern Luzon and the eastern sections of Visayas and Mindanao, winds will be moderate to strong, moving east to northeast. Coastal waters will be moderate to rough.
Meanwhile, the rest of the country will have light to moderate winds in a northeast direction, and slight to moderate coastal waters.
In Metro Manila, sunset will be at 6:04 p.m. on Saturday, while sunrise will be at 6:12 a.m. on Sunday. — Sherilyn Untalan/ VDV, GMA Integrated News
