Amihan, easterlies to bring cloudy skies, light rains over parts of PH

The northeast monsoon (amihan) will affect Northern Luzon while the easterlies will be affecting the rest of the country on Friday, PAGASA reported.

Cagayan, Isabela, and Aurora will have cloudy skies with light rains due to the northeast monsoon with no significant impact.

Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, and the rest of Cagayan Valley will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains northeast monsoon with no significant impact.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies and localized thunderstorms with possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

The wind speed forecast for the northern and eastern sections of the country is moderate to strong moving northeastward while coastal waters are moderate to rough.

The rest of the country will experience light to moderate wind speed moving northeastward while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.
