Amihan, Easterlies bring cloudy skies, scattered rains
The Northeast Monsoon will affect parts of the Northern and Central Luzon, while the easterlies will affect the rest of the country.
According to PAGASA’s daily weather forecast on Thursday afternoon, the easterlies may cause cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over Caraga and Davao Region.
The Northeast Monsoon may cause cloudy skies with light rains over Aurora and Northern Quezon, and partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon.
The rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms because of the combined effects of the easterlies and localized thunderstorms.
Meanwhile, the northern and eastern parts of the country may have moderate to strong winds with moderate to rough waters.
The rest of the country is expected to have light to moderate winds with slight to moderate waters.
Sunrise in Metro Manila will be at 6:13 a.m. on Friday. —Jiselle Anne Casucian/RF, GMA Integrated News
