PAGASA: Hot, humid weather to prevail over PH due to Easterlies
The Easterlies would continue to bring hot and humid weather with a chance of rain across parts of the country, state weather bureau PAGASA said Monday.
“Patuloy pa rin ang epekto ng Easterlies kaya nakakaranas tayo ng maalinsangang panahon. Although maalinsangan ang panahon, may tyansa pa rin nang biglaang buhos ng ulan o sandaling pag-ulan dulot ng thunderstorms lalo na sa Visayas at Mindanao,” PAGASA weather specialist Aldczar Aurelio said.
(The easterlies will continue to affect the country, bringing hot and humid weather with a chance of rain due to thunderstorms, particularly over the Visayas and Mindanao.)
Aurelio also said the weather bureau was not monitoring any low-pressure area inside the Philippine Area of Responsibility nor over the Pacific Ocean.
In its 4 p.m. bulletin, PAGASA said partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms will prevail over Metro Manila and the rest of the country due to the Easterlies and localized thunderstorms.
Light to moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal waters, meanwhile, would be experienced over the country’s seaboards.
The sun would rise on Tuesday at 6:19 a.m. — DVM, GMA Integrated News
