Easterlies to bring rain showers over Eastern PH

The easterlies are affecting the eastern section of the country, according to the PAGASA daily weather forecast on Sunday afternoon.

The country is expected to have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms because of the combined effects of the easterlies and localized thunderstorms.

Possible flash floods and landslides may occur as a result of said weather condition, the weather bureau cautioned.

Meanwhile, light to moderate winds with slight to moderate waters are forecast for the whole country.
