Amihan, easterlies to bring isolated rains over parts of the PH

The northeast monsoon (amihan) will be affecting extreme Northern Luzon while the easterlies will affect the eastern section of the country on Saturday, PAGASA reported.

Batanes and Babuyan Islands will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the northeast monsoon with no significant impact.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies and localized thunderstorms with possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

The wind speed forecast for the eastern section of the country is moderate to strong moving in the east to northeast direction while coastal waters will be moderate to rough.

The rest of the country will experience light to moderate wind speed moving in the northeast to east direction while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.
