Shear line, Easterlies to bring scattered rain over Visayas, Mindanao areas
A shear line would bring cloudy conditions with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over the Eastern Visayas, Central Visayas, Negros Occidental, Caraga, and Davao Regions, weather service PAGASA reported in a Sunday afternoon forecast.
The Northeast Monsoon would meanwhile bring cloudy skies with light rain over the Cagayan Valley, Bicol Region, Kalinga, Apayao, Aurora, and Quezon, and partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rain over the rest of Luzon and the Visayas.
The rest of Mindanao would have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms because of the combined effects of the easterlies and localized thunderstorms.
Possible flash floods and landslides may occur as a result of said weather conditions.
Northern Luzon and the eastern section of Central and Southern Luzon may would experience moderate to strong winds with moderate to rough coastal waters, while the rest of the country would have light to moderate winds with slight to moderate seas.
