Scattered rains expected over the eastern section of Visayas due to the shear line with the northeast monsoon also bringing rains over Luzon on Friday, PAGASA reported.
Eastern Visayas and Caraga will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to the shear line with flash floods or landslides possibly occurring due to moderate to at times heavy rains.
Cagayan Valley, Bicol Region, Aurora, Quezon, Oriental Mindoro, Romblon, Marinduque, Aklan, and Capiz will have cloudy skies with rains due to the northeast monsoon with possible isolated flash floods or landslides occurring due to moderate to at times heavy rains.
The Cordillera Administrative Region will have cloudy skies with light rains also due to the northeast monsoon but with no significant impact.
Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the northeast monsoon also with no significant impact.
The rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms with flash floods or landslides occurring during severe thunderstorms.
The wind speed forecast for the western and eastern sections of Southern Luzon and Visayas and the eastern section of Mindanao is strong and moving northeastward with rough coastal waters.
The rest of Luzon and Visayas will experience moderate to strong wind speed moving northeastward while coastal waters will be moderate to rough.
The rest of Mindanao will experience moderate to strong wind speed moving northeastward while coastal waters will be moderate to rough.
