Northeast Monsoon to bring cloudy skies with rains over parts of PH

The Northeast Monsoon or amihan continues to affect most parts of the country, bringing cloudy skies with a chance of rain, the state weather bureau said Tuesday.

In its 4 p.m. bulletin, PAGASA said that cloudy skies with rains will prevail over Cagayan Valley, Aurora, and Quezon.  Possible flash floods or landslides are expected due to moderate to at times heavy rains.

Cloudy skies with light rains will be experienced over the Cordillera Administrative Region.

The Northeast Monsoon will also bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over Metro Manila, Ilocos Region, the rest of Central Luzon, and the rest of CALABARZON.

The rest of the country may experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms because of localized thunderstorms.

Meanwhile, Northern Luzon and the eastern sections of Central and Southern Luzon may have strong winds with rough coastal waters, while the rest of the country is forecast to have moderate to strong winds with moderate to rough waters.

Sunrise in Metro Manila will be at 6:25 a.m. on Wednesday. —Jiselle Anne Casucian/LDF, GMA Integrated News
