Shear line to bring rains, thunderstorms over Mindanao
A shear line continues to affect the eastern section of Mindanao, while the Northeast Monsoon is affecting parts of Luzon and Visayas.
According to PAGASA's daily weather forecast at 4 p.m. Tuesday, Mindanao will experience cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to the effects of a shear line.
Flash floods and landslides may occur in Mindanao as a result of moderate to at times heavy rains.
The Northeast Monsoon will bring cloudy skies with light rains over the Cordillera Administrative Region, Cagayan Valley, Aurora, Quezon, Marinduque, Oriental Mindoro, Camarines Norte, and Eastern Visayas, as well as partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon and Visayas.
Meanwhile, the northern and eastern section of the country may experience strong winds with rough coastal waters, while the rest of the country is forecast to have moderate to strong winds with moderate to rough coastal waters.
