PAGASA: 4 weather systems to drench parts of PH

Four weather systems may bring rains over a large swath of the country, weather bureau PAGASA said in its 4 p.m. bulletin on Monday.

Cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms may prevail over Bicol Region, Quezon, Caraga, Davao Region, Bukidnon, Misamis Oriental, and Camiguin due to the shear line affecting the eastern section of South Luzon and the easterlies.

The Northeast Monsoon (Amihan) affecting the rest of Luzon may bring cloudy skies with light rains over Cagayan Valley and partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon.

Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms may be experienced over the rest of the country due to the combined effects of the easterlies and the localized thunderstorms.

PAGASA warned the public against the possible landslides and flooding in the affected areas due to the rains.

Meanwhile, moderate to strong winds and moderate to rough coastal water conditions may prevail over the Luzon seaboard.

The seaboards of Visayas and Mindanao may have light to moderate winds and slight to moderate waters.
