Scattered rain expected over the eastern PH –PAGASA
A shear line and the Easterlies would bring cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over the Bicol Region, Northern Samar, Quezon, Dinagat Islands, Surigao del Norte, and Surigao del Sur, state weather bureau PAGASA said Sunday afternoon.
PAGASA warned in its 4 p.m. weather bulletin that these moderate or heavy rains could cause flash floods or landslides in these areas.
Meanwhile, the Northeast Monsoon would bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon.
There would also be partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms over the rest of the country due to the Easterlies or localized thunderstorms.
This may also cause possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.
Luzon would experience moderate to strong winds and moderate to rough seas, while the Visayas and Mindanao would have light to moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal waters.
The sun set at 5:41 p.m. on Sunday and would rise at 6:23 a.m. on Monday. — DVM, GMA Integrated News
