Amihan, easterlies to bring cloudy skies, rains over parts of PH

The Northeast Monsoon (Amihan) affecting Northern and Central Luzon and easterlies will be bringing cloudy skies and rains in different parts of the country Friday, state weather bureau PAGASA said.

In its 24-hour public weather forecast, PAGASA said Batanes and Babuyan Islands will experience cloudy skies with rains due to Amihan. Residents were warned against possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains.

Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains will be experienced in Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon also due to Amihan.

Visayas, Mindanao, MIMAROPA, and Bicol Region, on the other hand, will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms brought by easterlies. Severe thunderstorms may cause possible flash floods or landslides.

PAGASA said Luzon and the eastern sections of Visayas will have moderate to rough coastal waters while it will be slight to moderate for rest of the country.
