Amihan, easterlies to dampen parts of PH
Parts of the country will experience rain showers due to the effects of the northeast monsoon (Amihan) over Northern and Central Luzon and the easterlies affecting the rest of the country.
According to PAGASA's 4 p.m. bulletin, cloudy skies with rains due to the northeast monsoon were forecast over Batanes and Babuyan Islands.
The Amihan will cause partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon.
Meanwhile, the easterlies and localized thunderstorms will cast partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers and thunderstorms over the Visayas, Mindanao, Mimaropa, and Bicol.
PAGASA warned the public about possible flash floods and landslides in these areas during severe thunderstorms.
Similar incidents may hit Batanes and Babuyan Islands amid moderate to at times heavy rains.
Moderate to strong winds and moderate to rough waters were expected at the seaboards of Luzon and the eastern sections of Visayas and Mindanao.
The rest of the country will have light to moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal water conditions.
