Northeast Monsoon to bring cloudy skies, rains over parts of Luzon
The Northeast Monsoon (Amihan) continues to affect Northern and Central Luzon on Sunday and will bring cloudy skies and rains over several areas, PAGASA said in its forecast.
Cagayan Valley, Apayao, Kalinga, Ifugao, Mountain Province, Aurora, and Quezon will have cloudy skies with rains. Moderate to at times heavy rains may lead to flash floods or landslides.
Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon, excluding the Bicol Region and Palawan, may expect partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the monsoon.
The Bicol Region, Palawan, Visayas, and Mindanao on the other hand will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies and localized thunderstorms. During severe thunderstorms, flash floods or landslides may occur.
Coastal waters will be rough in Northern Luzon and the eastern sections of Central Luzon, Southern Luzon, and Visayas.
The seas will be moderate to rough in the rest of Luzon and the eastern section of Mindanao.
Meanwhile, coastal waters in the rest of the country will be slight to moderate.
