Amihan to bring isolated rains over parts of North Luzon

The Northeast Monsoon (Amihan) will bring isolated rain showers over parts of Northern Luzon on Saturday, PAGASA reported.

Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, and Cagayan Valley will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the Northeast Monsoon but this will have no significant impact.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies and localized thunderstorms with flash floods or landslides possibly occurring during severe thunderstorms.

The wind speed forecast for extreme Northern Luzon is moderate to strong moving northeastward with moderate to rough coastal waters.

The eastern section of the country will experience moderate to strong wind speed moving in the northeast to north direction with moderate to rough coastal waters.

The rest of the country will experience light to moderate wind speed moving northeastward while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.
