Amihan to bring light rains over Batanes, Babuyan islands

The Northeast Monsoon or Amihan will be affecting extreme Northern Luzon on Saturday, PAGASA reported.

Batanes and Babuyan Islands will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the Northeast Monsoon but with no significant impact.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies and localized thunderstorms. Flash floods or landslides may possibly occur during severe thunderstorms.

Northern Luzon will experience moderate to strong wind speed moving in the east to northeast direction while coastal waters will be moderate to rough.

The wind speed forecast for the rest of the country is light to moderate moving in the east to northeast direction while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.
