PAGASA: Amihan to bring more light rain over north Luzon

The Northeast Monsoon or Amihan would continue to affect parts of Extreme Northern Luzon, according to PAGASA’s Friday afternoon forecast.

The Northeast Monsoon would bring cloudy skies with light rain over the Batanes and Babuyan Islands.

Meanwhile, partly cloudy to cloudy conditions with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms could be expected over the rest of the country due to the Easterlies and localized thunderstorms.

These isolated rain showers or thunderstorms may cause flash floods and landslides.

The Northern Luzon could expect moderate to strong winds from the east to northeast with moderate to rough coastal conditions, while the rest of the country would experience light to moderate winds, also from the east to northeast, with slight to moderate coastal waters.
