Northeast Monsoon, shear line to bring rains over parts of Luzon
The Northeast Monsoon (Amihan) continues to affect Northern Luzon on Sunday and will bring rains over parts of Luzon. The shear line will also cause rains, PAGASA said in its weather forecast.
Batanes and Babuyan Islands may expect cloudy skies with rains due to the monsoon, with the possibility of flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains.
The Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, and the rest of Cagayan Valley will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the Amihan.
Cagayan and Isabela will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorm due to the shear line. Light to moderate to at times heavy rains may result in flash floods or landslides.
Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of the country may have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies and localized thunderstorms. During severe thunderstorms, flash floods or landslides may occur.
Coastal waters will be moderate to rough in Northern Luzon, and slight to moderate in the rest of the country.
