Northeast Monsoon to bring rains over parts of Luzon
The Northeast Monsoon (Amihan) affecting Northern Luzon will bring rains over parts of Luzon on Saturday, PAGASA said in its weather forecast.
Batanes and Cagayan including Babuyan Islands will have cloudy skies with rains brought about by the monsoon. Moderate to at times heavy rains may possibly lead to flash floods or landslides.
The Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, the rest of Central Luzon, and the rest of Cagayan Valley may expect partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the monsoon.
Aurora and Quezon will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorm due to the easterlies. Flash floods or landslides may result due to scattered light to moderate to at times heavy rains.
Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of the country may have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies and localized thunderstorms. During severe thunderstorms, flash floods or landslides may possibly result.
Coastal waters will be moderate to rough in Northern Luzon, and slight to moderate in the rest of the country.
