Amihan to bring rains over Northern Luzon

The northeast monsoon or amihan will bring rains over parts of Northern Luzon on Tuesday, PAGASA reported.

Batanes, Cagayan, and Isabela will have cloudy skies with rains due to the northeast monsoon with flash floods or landslides occurring due to moderate to at times heavy rains.

Bicol Region, Aurora, Quezon, Northern Samar, and Eastern Samar will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to the easterlies with flash floods or landslides possibly occurring due to moderate to at times heavy rains.

Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, and the rest of Cagayan Valley partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains also due to the northeast monsoon with no significant impact.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies and localized thunderstorms with possible flash floods or landslides occurring during severe thunderstorms.

The wind speed forecast for Luzon is moderate to strong moving northeastward with moderate to rough coastal waters.

Visayas and Mindanao will experience light to moderate wind speed moving in the east to northeast direction while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.
