Light rain, cloudy skies expected over north, Central Luzon

Northern and Central Luzon would be under the influence of the Northeast Monsoon, weather service PAGASA predicted in a Sunday afternoon forecast.

Light rain and cloudy conditions could thus be expected over the Cagayan Valley, Apayao, Kalinga, Mountain Province, and Ifugao.

Partly cloudy to cloudy skies accompanied by isolated light rain could meanwhile be expected over the Ilocos Region, Central Luzon, and the rest of the Cordillera Administrative Region.

The rest of the country would be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.

Winds would be moderate to strong from the northeast over Luzon, where coastal conditions would be moderate to rough.

Over the Visayas and Mindanao, winds would be light to moderate from the east to northeast with slight to moderate coastal conditions.

Sunday temperatures in Quezon City dropped to a low of 23.3°C at 5 a.m. and rose to a high of 29.3°C at 2 p.m.

Sunrise on Monday would be at 6:03 a.m. — DVM, GMA Integrated News
