Shear line, easterlies, Amihan continue to affect PH
The shear line, easterlies, and the Northeast Monsoon (Amihan) continue to affect the country.
According to PAGASA’s weather forecast issued on Saturday afternoon, Bicol Region, Quezon, Laguna, Batangas, Cavite, Occidental Mindoro, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque, and Romblon will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms because of the shear line.
The Northeast Monsoon will bring cloudy skies with light rains over the Cordillera Administrative Region and Cagayan Valley, and partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over the Ilocos Region, Central Luzon, and the rest of Calabarzon.
Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms will be experienced over Metro Manila and the rest of the country due to the effects of the easterlies and localized thunderstorms.
Meanwhile, Luzon will experience moderate to rough winds with moderate to rough coastal waters, while Visayas and Mindanao will have light to moderate winds with slight to moderate coastal waters.
The sun will rise over Metro Manila at 6:02 a.m. on Sunday. —Jiselle Anne Casucian/VBL, GMA Integrated News
