Shear line, easterlies to bring rains over parts of PH
The shear line will be affecting the eastern section of Southern Luzon while the easterlies will affect Visayas and Mindanao on Saturday, PAGASA reported.
Quezon, Laguna, and Bicol Region will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to the shear line with flash floods or landslides occurring due to moderate to at times heavy rains.
The Cordillera Administrative Region, Cagayan Valley, and Aurora will have cloudy skies with light rains due to the northeast monsoon with no significant impact.
Metro Manila, the rest of CALABARZON and Central Luzon, and Ilocos Region will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains also due to the northeast monsoon with no significant impact.
The rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies and localized thunderstorms with flash floods or landslides occurring during severe thunderstorms.
The wind speed forecast for Luzon is moderate to rough moving northeastward while coastal waters will be moderate to rough.
Visayas and Mindanao will experience light to moderate wind speed moving in the east to northeast direction while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.
