3 weather systems to cast rains over Visayas, northern Mindanao and parts of Luzon
Rains are expected over the Visayas, northern Mindanao and parts of Luzon due to the effects of three weather systems, PAGASA said in its 4 p.m. bulletin on Monday.
The shear line affecting the eastern section of Visayas may bring cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms over the regions of Visayas, northern Mindanao, Caraga, and Bicol.
The northeast monsoon (Amihan) may cast cloudy skies with light rains in Cagayan Valley, Apayao, and Quezon and partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon.
Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms may be experienced over the rest of Mindanao due to the localized thunderstorms.
PAGASA warned the public against the possible rain-induced flashfloods and landslides in the affected areas.
Moderate to strong winds and moderate to rough coastal water conditions may be experienced over the seaboards of Luzon and the eastern section of Visayas.
The rest of the country may have light to moderate winds and slight to moderate waters, PAGASA added.
The sun will rise over Metro Manila on Tuesday at 5:59 a.m.—RF, GMA Integrated News
