Parts of PH to experience rain showers
The shear line and the trough of a low pressure area will continue to bring rain showers to parts of the country, PAGASA said Saturday afternoon.
Visayas, Mimaropa, Bicol Region, Northern Mindanao, Caraga, and Davao Region will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms because of the shear line and the trough of LPA, which was spotted 505 kilometers east of Surigao City at 3 p.m.
The Northeast Monsoon (Amihan) affects the rest of Luzon.
Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms will prevail in the rest of Mindanao.
The wind speed in Luzon and the eastern sections of Visayas and Mindanao will be strong, moving northeast, while coastal waters will be rough.
The rest of the country will have light to moderate wind speeds moving northeast to north, while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.
The sun will rise over Metro Manila at 5:59 a.m. on Sunday. —Sherylin Untalan and Jiselle Anne Casucian/VBL, GMA Integrated News
