PAGASA: Shear line to trigger isolated rain showers over PH
The Northeast Monsoon or amihan will bring cloudy skies with light rains in Batanes and Cagayan including Babuyan Islands, and partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains in Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon, PAGASA said Friday.
According to weather bureau's daily forecast, Bicol region, Northern Samar, Eastern Samar, Caraga, Davao de Oro, Davao Oriental, Palawan, Basilan, Sulu, and Tawi-Tawi will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms because of shear line and trough of LPA.
The rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms because of the shear line and localized thunderstorms.
Meanwhile, Luzon and the eastern section of Visayas and Mindanao will experience moderate to strong winds with moderate to rough waters, while the rest of the country is forecast to have light to moderate winds with light to moderate waters.
The sun will rise at 5:58 a.m. on Saturday.—Jiselle Anne Casucian/LDF, GMA Integrated News
