Amihan, shear line to bring rain over Luzon

The shear line and Northeast Monsoon or amihan will continue to affect parts of Luzon, state weather bureau PAGASA said.

In its daily weather forecast on Tuesday, PAGASA said Bicol region, Isabela, Quirino, Aurora, Rizal, Laguna, Quezon, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, Northern Samar, Eastern Samar, and Samar are forecast to have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms because of the shear line.

The Northeast Monsoon will be bringing cloudy skies with rains over Apayao, Kalinga, Ifugao, Mountain Province, and the rest of Cagayan Valley, and partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over Ilocos Region, Abra, Benguet, and the rest of Central Luzon.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the shear line and localized thunderstorms.

Meanwhile, Luzon and the eastern section of Visayas will be having moderate to strong winds with moderate to rough waters, while the rest of the country will have light to moderate winds with slight to moderate waters.

The sun will rise at 5:57 a.m. on Wednesday. —Jiselle Anne Casucian/LDF, GMA Integrated News
