Easterlies, Amihan to bring isolated rains over parts of PH
The easterlies will affect Southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao while the Northeast Monsoon (Amihan) will affect extreme Northern Luzon on Saturday, PAGASA reported.
Batanes and Cagayan including Babuyan Islands will have cloudy skies with light rains due to the monsoon with no significant impact.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies and localized thunderstorms. During severe thunderstorms, flash floods or landslides may possibly occur.
The wind speed forecast for Northern Luzon is moderate to strong moving in northeastward. Coastal waters will be moderate to rough.
The rest of the country meanwhile will experience light to moderate wind speed moving in the east to northeast direction while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.
