Easterlies, Amihan to bring cloudy skies over PH
The easterlies affect Palawan, Visayas, and Mindanao, while Extreme Northern Luzon experiences the effects of the Northeast Monsoon, PAGASA said Tuesday afternoon.
According to PAGASA’s weather forecast, the Northeast Monsoon will bring cloudy skies with light rains in Batanes and partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains in Cagayan, including the Babuyan Islands.
The easterlies will cause cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms in Bicol Region, Eastern Visayas, and Caraga, while Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms because of the easterlies and localized thunderstorms.
Northern Luzon will experience moderate to strong winds with moderate to rough coastal waters, while the eastern sections of Central Luzon, Southern Luzon, and Visayas will have moderate winds with moderate coastal waters.
The rest of the country will have light to moderate winds with slight to moderate coastal waters.
