Easterlies to bring rains over Palawan, Visayas, Mindanao
The easterlies will cause cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms over Palawan, Visayas, and Mindanao on Tuesday, PAGASA reported.
The Bicol Region, Eastern Visayas, Surigao del Norte, Dinagat Islands, and Quezon will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to the easterlies with the possibility of flash floods or landslides occurring due to moderate to at times heavy rains.
Batanes and Babuyan Islands will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the Northeast Monsoon or Amihan.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies and localized thunderstorms. Flash floods or landslides may possibly occur during severe thunderstorms.
The wind speed forecast for Northern Luzon is moderate to strong moving in the northeast to east direction while coastal waters will be moderate to rough.
The rest of the country will have light to moderate wind speed moving in the northeast to east with slight to moderate coastal waters.
