LPA spotted east of Catanduanes

LPA spotted east of Catanduanes

A low pressure area was located 735 kilometers east of Virac, Catanduanes, on Monday afternoon, PAGASA said.

The LPA's trough and the shear line will bring cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over the Bicol Region, Mimaropa, Western Visayas, Eastern Visayas, Quezon, and the northern portion of Cebu.

Flash floods or landslides are possible due to moderate to at times heavy rains.

The Northeast Monsoon (Amihan) will affect Batanes, Cagayan, Isabela, Aurora, the Ilocos Region, the Cordillera Administrative Region, the rest of Cagayan Valley, and the rest of Central Luzon.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.

Luzon will experience moderate to strong winds with moderate to rough seas, while the rest of the country will have light to moderate winds with slight to moderate coastal waters.

The sun will rise over Metro Manila at 5:51 a.m. on Tuesday. —Jiselle Anne Casucian/VBL, GMA Integrated News
