Scattered rain expected across Luzon, Visayas during BSKE, Undas

The Northeast Monsoon, a shear line, and a low-pressure area would bring scattered rain across Luzon and the Eastern Visayas during the Barangay andSangguniang Kabataan Elections and All Saint's Day long weekend.

According to weather service PAGASA, from October 30 to 31, the Bicol Region, Visayas, Caraga, and Quezon province would experience cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms because of the combined effects of a shear line and low-pressure area.

Meanwhile, Metro Manila, Central Luzon, and the Ilocos Region would experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rain due to the Northeast Monsoon.

The rest of the country was forecast to have isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.

From November 1 until November 3, Quezon, the Bicol Region, and the Eastern Visayas would experience cloudy conditions accompanied by scattered rain showers and thunderstorms because of the shear line and the low-pressure area.

Mostly cloudy skies with light rain would meanwhile be experienced in the Cagayan Valley and Aurora; while the Ilocos Region, the rest of Central Luzon, and Metro Manila would have partly cloudy and cloudy skies with isolated rain because of the Northeast Monsoon.

Possible flooding and landslides may be experienced in several areas over the long weekend due to the said weather conditions.

Meanwhile, Northern Luzon would experience moderate to strong winds with moderate to rough coastal waters, while the rest of the country would experience light to moderate winds with slight to moderate coastal waters.
