Trough of LPA affects Caraga, Davao Region
The trough of a low pressure area is affecting parts of Mindanao, according to the state weather bureau PAGASA on Thursday.
Caraga and Davao Region are forecast to have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to the trough of the LPA, PAGASA said in its 4 p.m. report.
Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, Cagayan Valley, and Central Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the Northeast Monsoon, while Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms because of localized thunderstorms.
Flooding and landslides may occur in parts of the country.
Northern Luzon will have moderate to strong winds with moderate to rough coastal waters, while the rest of the country will experience light to moderate winds with slight to moderate coastal waters.
The sun will rise over Metro Manila at 5:50 a.m. on Friday. —Jiselle Anne Casucian/VBL, GMA Integrated News
