Amihan, shear line to bring rain across Luzon
The Northeast Monsoon (Amihan) continues to affect Northern Luzon while the shear line prevails in the eastern section of Central Luzon, PAGASA said on Tuesday afternoon.
The Northeast Monsoon will cause cloudy skies with rains over Batanes, Cagayan, and Apayao, and partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over the Ilocos Region, the rest of the Cordillera Administrative Region, and the rest of Cagayan Valley.
Metro Manila, Isabela, Aurora, Calabarzon, and Camarines Norte will experience cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms because of the shear line, while the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms caused by localized thunderstorms.
Flooding or landslides may occur in some areas due to these weather systems.
Meanwhile, Northern Luzon is forecast to have moderate to strong winds with moderate to rough coastal waters.
The rest of the country will experience light to moderate winds with slight to moderate coastal waters.
The sun will rise over Metro Manila at 5:49 a.m. on Wednesday. —Jiselle Anne Casucian/VBL, GMA Integrated News
