Northeasterly surface windflow to bring rains over parts of Luzon
The northeasterly surface windflow is affecting areas in Northern Luzon, according to PAGASA’s daily weather forecast on Tuesday.
Batanes, Cagayan, Isabela, and Aurora are forecast to experience cloudy skies with rain due to the northeasterly surface windflow.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms because of the northeasterly surface windflow and localized thunderstorms.
Flash floods or landslides may occur because of these weather conditions.
Meanwhile, Northern and Central Luzon will have moderate to strong winds with moderate to rough coastal waters, while the rest of the country will experience light to moderate winds with slight to moderate coastal waters.
The sun will rise over Metro Manila at 5:48 a.m. on Wednesday. —Jiselle Anne Casucian/VBL, GMA Integrated News
