Northeasterly surface windflow will bring rains over Batanes, 3 other areas

The northeasterly surface windflow affecting Extreme Northern Luzon will bring rains over Batanes and three other areas on Monday, PAGASA said in its forecast.

Batanes, Cagayan, Isabela, and Apayao will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains.

Palawan on the other hand may expect cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to the trough or extension of a low pressure area. Moderate to at times heavy rains may possibly lead to flash floods or landslides.

Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms. During severe thunderstorms, flash floods or landslides may occur.

Coastal waters will be moderate to rough in Northern and Central Luzon, and slight to moderate elsewhere in the country.
