Trough of LPA, Habagat to bring rains across country

The trough of a low pressure area and the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) will bring rains across the country, according to PAGASA on Tuesday afternoon.

Mindanao and Eastern Visayas will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms because of the LPA's trough.

The same weather conditions are expected in Palawan due to Habagat.

Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms will prevail in Metro Manila and the rest of the country due to the LPA's trough and localized thunderstorms.

Flash floods or landslides may occur due to heavy rains or severe thunderstorms.

Meanwhile, the country will have light to moderate winds with slight to moderate waters.
