Habagat to bring scattered rains over parts of Southern Luzon, Visayas
The Southwest Monsoon or Habagat will bring cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms over the western sections of Southern Luzon and Visayas on Tuesday, PAGASA reported.
Mimaropa and Western Visayas will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to the Southwest Monsoon. Flash floods or landslides may occur in these areas due to moderate to at times heavy rains.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the monsoon and localized thunderstorms with flash floods or landslides possibly occurring during severe thunderstorms.
The western sections of Luzon and Visayas will experience light to moderate wind speed moving in the southwest to southeast direction while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.
The rest of Luzon and Visayas will experience light to moderate wind speed moving in the northeast to northwest direction while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.
Mindanao residents will experience light to moderate wind speed moving in the southwest to west direction with slight to moderate coastal waters.
