PAGASA monitors LPAs off Northern Samar, Pangasinan

State weather bureau PAGASA is monitoring two low pressure areas inside the Philippine Area of Responsibility.
At 3 p.m. on Saturday, the first LPA was located 530 kilometers east of Catarman, Northern Samar, while the second LPA was spotted 235 kilometers west of Dagupan City, Pangasinan, PAGASA said in its 24-hour forecast issued at 4 p.m.
The Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) affects Southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.
Metro Manila, the rest of Luzon, and Visayas will experience cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms.
Mindanao will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.
Light to moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal waters are forecast for the whole country.
