Habagat to affect parts of Luzon, bring cloudy skies across Philippines
The Southwest Monsoon or Habagat is directly affecting the western portion of northern and central Luzon, PAGASA said Thursday.
According to the state weather bureau’s daily weather forecast, the whole country will be experiencing partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms as a result of the Southwest Monsoon and localized thunderstorms.
As a direct result of the weather forecast, the country may experience possible flooding or landslides.
Meanwhile, Luzon will be subjected to light to moderate winds blowing South to Southwest with slight to moderate coastal waters, while Visayas and Mindanao will be having light to moderate winds blowing Southeast to south with slight to moderate coastal waters.
