Habagat to bring scattered rain over Northern, Central Luzon
The southwest monsoon or Habagat will bring cloudy skies and scattered rain over the western sections of Northern and Central Luzon on Thursday, PAGASA reported.
Batanes and Babuyan Islands will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to the southwest monsoon with possible flooding or landslides due to moderate with at times heavy rains.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the southwest monsoon and localized thunderstorms. Flash floods or landslides may occur, PAGASA said, during severe thunderstorms.
The wind speed forecast for Luzon is light to moderate moving in the south to southwest direction while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.
Visayas and Mindanao residents will experience light to moderate wind speed moving in the southeast to south direction while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.
