Habagat continues to affect Luzon

The Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) will prevail in Luzon, the state weather bureau PAGASA said on Tuesday.

Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, Abra, and Benguet will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms, while Habagat and localized thunderstorms will affect Metro Manila and the rest of the country.

PAGASA warned of possible flooding or landslides due to heavy rains.

Extreme Northern Luzon will experience strong winds with rough water conditions, while the rest of Luzon will have moderate to strong winds with moderate to rough water conditions.

Visayas and Mindanao, on the other hand, are forecast to have light to moderate winds with slight to moderate water conditions.  — Jiselle Casucian/VBL, GMA Integrated News
