Angat, Binga dams under flood watch —PAGASA

Two major dams are currently being monitored for possible overflow, after days of continued rains.

According to weather bureau PAGASA in its 2:30 P.M. bulletin, the Angat sub-basin and Binga-Ambuklao-San Roque sub-basins are under flood watch.

Angat Dam was recorded with a 199.33m water level, while Binga-Ambuklao-San Roque was noted at 262.58m which are both above critical water level.

PAGASA, in its 4 a.m. advisory, forecast rain showers and thunderstorms due to the Southwest Monsoon, particularly around the western portion of Luzon. —Jiselle Anne Casucian/ VAL, GMA Integrated News
