Habagat to bring rain across western section of PH —PAGASA
The Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) will be affecting the western section of the country, according to state weather bureau PAGASA on Saturday.
Occidental Mindoro and northern Palawan including Calamian and Kalayaan Islands, will be experiencing monsoon rains caused by the Southwest Monsoon.
Possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to heavy rains is expected.
Metro Manila, Zambales, Bataan, Batangas, Cavite, the rest of MIMAROPA, and Western Visayas will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to Southwest Monsoon. Possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains is also expected.
Meanwhile, the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to Southwest Monsoon and localized thunderstorms.
PAGASA warned of possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.
The weather bureau said the wind speed forecast for the rest of the country will be light to moderate, while coastal waters will be slight to moderate. —LBG, GMA Integrated News
