Easterlies to bring scattered rain showers over Mindanao
Scattered rain showers may prevail in the southern Philippines due to the continuing effect of the easterlies or the warm air coming from the Pacific Ocean.
State weather bureau PAGASA on Friday said cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms are expected in Mindanao as the weather system affects the region and Visayas.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country are forecast to experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.
PAGASA warned of possible flash floods and landslides in the affected areas.
Meanwhile, light to moderate winds and coastal water conditions will be experienced across the country.
