Cloudy skies, rains expected over Luzon areas, east Philippines
A shear line and the Northeast Monsoon or Amihan will continue to bring cloudy skies and rain showers across the country, according to weather bureau PAGASA on Saturday.
The Bicol Region and Northern Samar will experience cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to a shear line with possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains.
The Cagayan Valley and Cordillera Administrative Regions, Aurora, Quezon, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque, and Romblon will have cloudy skies with rains due to the Amihan with possible floods or landslides due to moderate with at times heavy rains.
Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with light rains.
The rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms with possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.
The wind speed forecast for Luzon and the Visayas will be moderate to strong moving northeast while moderate to rough coastal water conditions.
Mindanao will experience light to moderate wind speeds moving northeast to north, while coastal water conditions will be slight to moderate. — DVM, GMA Integrated News
