Shear line, easterlies to bring rains across Luzon
The shear line and the easterlies will spur rains over parts of Luzon on Monday, according to weather bureau PAGASA.
Cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms may prevail over the Bicol region and the provinces of Batanes, Cagayan, Isabela, Quirino, Aurora and Quezon due to the weather systems.
Meanwhile, partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms may be experienced over Metro Manila and the rest of the country due to the easterlies and the localized thunderstorms.
PAGASA warned the public against possible flash floods or landslides in the affected areas due to the rainfall.
Forecast winds in Northern Luzon will be moderate to strong, to be accompanied by moderate to rough coastal waters. Light to moderate winds, meanwhile, will blow over the rest of the country with slight to moderate waters.
Minimum temperature was monitored at 6 a.m. at 23.6°C while maximum temperature was at 31.8°C at 12 p.m.
