Henry exits PAR, but enhances Habagat bringing rains over Luzon

Typhoon Henry (Hinnamnor) has exited the Philippine area of responsibility (PAR) but is still seen to cause monsoon rains in several parts of the country despite the lifting of all cyclone wind signals, state weather bureau PAGASA said Sunday.
In its 5:00 a.m. weather bulletin, Henry turns north-northwestward over the East China Sea as it exited the PAR.
The center of Henry's eye at 4 a.m. Sunday was estimated based on all available data at 590 km North Northeast of Itbayat, Batanes.
It packed a maximum sustained winds of 150 km/h near the center, gustiness of up to 185 km/h, and central pressure of 955 hPa.
PAGASA said that in the next 24 hours, the Southwest Monsoon enhanced by Henry will bring rains over the northern and western section of Northern Luzon and the western section of Northern and Central Luzon.
Occasional gusts reaching strong breeze to near gale strength associated with the enhanced Southwest Monsoon may also be experienced today (especially in the coastal and mountainous areas) over Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, Central Luzon, Metro Manila, CALABARZON, Bicol Region, Cagayan, Isabela, Nueva Vizcaya, Quirino, Mindoro Provinces, and Romblon. —LBG, GMA News
