LPA to bring rains over Mimaropa

Mimaropa will experience cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to a low pressure area, weather bureau PAGASA said on Saturday.

As of 3 p.m., the LPA was located 225 kilometers east northeast of Kalayaan Islands, PAGASA said in its 4 p.m. bulletin.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) and localized thunderstorms.

The weather bureau warned of possible flash floods or landslides due to rains brought by the LPA and thunderstorms.

Meanwhile, the wind speed forecast for the whole country will be light to moderate, and coastal water conditions will be slight to moderate.

The sun will rise over Metro Manila at 5:44 a.m. on Sunday. —Richa Noriega/VBL, GMA News
